Elika Sigorta Ofis Projesi
An interior project for an insurance office in Istanbul, currently under construction. In insurance the job of the space is to inspire confidence: a client should know where to go on entering and be able to hold their meeting undisturbed.
The plan was therefore built on the relationship between reception and meeting. The reception point was kept visible from the entrance while meeting units were separated from the waiting area. In a sector where personal data is discussed, the acoustic privacy of a meeting is a requirement of the design.
In the work area, order and storage came to the fore. In a document-heavy business, archive and cupboard solutions added to the plan afterwards leave the space disordered within months, so storage was treated as part of the design from the start.
